Doug Johnson is a “Business
Builder”. For 30 years in the high tech industry he built new
businesses inside large corporations an activity known as
Intrapreneuring. Doug has worked in several industries – from
Semiconductors to Software – and built almost a dozen different
businesses. Throughout his career, Doug has held a variety of positions
in Operations, Marketing, and as Division General Manager.
Today, Doug Johnson is a business
advisor to growing companies and an active volunteer in the community.
He is also an affiliate professor for University of Northern Colorado
where he teaches courses on Entrepreneuring. Doug is also a member of
the Entrepreneurship Leadership Council for the Entrepreneurship Center
at CSU on the Advisory Board of the Northern Colorado Idea Lab and leads
a Ft Collins, CO based forum for local professionals seeking jobs.
Doug Johnson’s formal training includes a BSEE
degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a MBA from Arizona
State University. |
